Taymour Grahne is pleased to present New Drawings by Nadia Ayari, an online solo exhibition by the Brooklyn-based artist.

Nadia Ayari
b. 1981 Tunis, Tunisa
Lives and works in Brooklyn, NY
Nadia Ayari received her BA from Boston University, CFA from Brandeis University, Waltham and an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence.
Ayari has been the recipient of awards such as the Lotos Foundation and Robert Motherwell. Previously exhibiting with Taymour Grahne at his New York Gallery, also in London (2019) and most recently at artgenève, Geneva in January (2020).
Her work is included in the collections of the Barjeel Foundation (Sharjah, UAE) State Museum of Contemporary Art, (Thessaloniki, Greece) and the Saatchi Collection (London, UK). -

These latest series of drawings explore on-going forms in Ayari's practice, and also the introduction of a new protagonist - the flower. -
As the water evaporates, it stains the paper with different inks, mixing and pooling together until a permanent imprint is formed. -
