for my partner, contentedly asleep and untroubled. The tree here is a protector, here to
emphasize the idea of all creatures on earth looking out for one another. I wanted the blanket
to look like hills or mountains, as if the sleepless viewer is creating an imaginary landscape to
move through, looking to nature as a source of comfort.
