they are so of this world having lived here much longer than I have. One night this winter, when
I couldn’t sleep I had a vision of a large tree emerging between the drapes of my room. This
painting started as a night painting, but evolved into a dusk painting. The extraterrestrial as a
title is a play on words, trees being “extra” almost hyper-terrestrial.
