  • Many of the works draw on personal and cultural histories: Maia Cruz Palileo, Tidawhitney Lek and Samira Abbassy reflect on diaspora, migration, and inherited stories, intertwining the imagined and the remembered. Gretchen Scherer and John Dilg create atmospheric spaces that float between the real and the unreal, inviting us into dreamlike interiors and softened landscapes shaped by memory and imagination.

  • Sarah McEneaney, Thomas Cameron and Flora Temnouche find poetry in the everyday, offering tender observations of daily life and rhythms often overlooked. Amy Lincoln, Asif Hoque and Sean P. McGaughey both draw on nature and symbolism to construct luminous, imagined worlds that blur the boundaries between reality and myth.

Material and process play a vital role across the exhibition, whether through the use of gouache, the layering of collage, or the textured blending of drawing and oil paint. Collectively, these works offer a resonant space for reflection, connection, and the layered stories that paper can hold.
