Vigil - is a painting about not sleeping. I have done several paintings on this theme. Apparently, women of my generation do not sleep well. There is actually a book out about Gen X women called “Why We Can’t Sleep”. I lie awake at night thinking of pandemics, global warming, my children’s school work, our President—but I am also planning new paintings.1of 16
