As opposed to linocut printing which became her trademark, silkscreen is a technique Al-Baqsami rarely ever used, except here for a study of a bedouin woman in a traditional tent like setting. The background motifs display ‘Sadu’ weaving patterns, a local Kuwaiti artform. The woman is also wearing a large intricate necklace, also highlighting traditional attire from Kuwaiti bedouin culture.
