I used to have a tarantula, and have always been drawn to spiders. They are builders, and their webs function as both a trap and a home. The original image was of three men golfing, with the central figure directing the figure on the right’s swing. I experienced a lot of deaths in my family in the last few years, and I wanted to create an image of accepting death and teaching each other how to accept death.
